Fire at Spencer Pratts Pacific Palisades Office Investigated as Possible Arson

On Thursday afternoon, a sudden blaze erupted in the Pacific Palisades office of Spencer Pratt’s crystals company. Firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) rushed to the scene, and with multiple units working in tandem, they contained the flames before they could spill beyond the building’s walls. Thankfully, no one was injured.

The office sits inside the Highlands Circle complex at 1515 Palisades Drive—a building that once housed the Cosa Nostra restaurant. It survived the devastating January 2025 Palisades Fire that gutted thousands of structures in the neighborhood. At the time of Thursday’s incident, the property was in the midst of renovations.

While the flames were brought under control, LAFD’s Arson Unit was dispatched to investigate. As of now, the department has not released a definitive explanation, and the inquiry remains ongoing.

Spencer Pratt—known to many from reality TV and the 2026 Los Angeles mayoral race—confirmed that the office belonged to him. In an interview with The California Post, he said, “I want to be careful to not compromise an arson investigation, but this incident is very suspicious.” Pratt added, “I will wait for the investigators to make public the details, but this was no accident, and the timing of this…on the heels of all of the contentious election tomfoolery of the last two weeks, it is very suspect, indeed.”

He went further, noting, “This fire was not an accident, and it would not surprise me in the least if this were a reprisal for my work in opposing Karen Bass and Nithya Raman, and having the audacity as a civilian to try and do my civic duty and improve our broken city.” Pratt also warned that “there are many unscrupulous people in this city who will stop at nothing to silence people who expose the corruption that has overrun our city.”

The blaze comes amid a broader political backdrop. Pratt’s own Pacific Palisades home was destroyed by the 2025 Palisades Fire, prompting him to sue the city over its disaster response. He announced his 2026 mayoral bid to demand accountability and reform. Though he finished third in the June 2, 2026 non‑partisan primary and was eliminated from the race, the timing of the fire has drawn keen attention from residents and supporters alike.

With the LAFD still probing for a cause, Pratt has pledged to wait for the investigators’ findings before making further statements. As the inquiry proceeds, authorities urge the public to refrain from speculation until official results are released. The outcome may shape the ongoing debate over city governance and accountability in Los Angeles.
